Uncharted 2: Among Thieves

Postby Harry Guinness » Oct 18th, '09, 18:21

Single best video game I have ever played. Just finished the insanely awesome single player campaign, it was what the most recent Indiana Jones should have been! Do yourself a favour and pick it up if you have a PS3!

I recently got a PS3 and haven't done unchartered 1. Do I need to, or just plough into this?

It's good, but overall it can't compare to any game with a decent online multiplayer.

I've seen TV footage of Chinese (or was it Korean?) gamers sat at their PCs in nappies so they can play World of Warcraft without so much as a break for the toilet. I don't care how good the game is, that is just very sad indeed.

If my failing memory serves, I think they were contestants in a frenetic gaming competition and didn't want to lose vital time in the toilet. It would appear that Koreans/Chinese/Japanese take their gaming very seriously indeed. A bit too seriously, if you ask me.

Not that I wish to stereotype, however it would appear that YouTube is very much in support of this observation.

The levels of ability some of them have in certain games I often find initially impressive and then a little pitiful that they have that much free time on their hands.

They could be making pointless posts on a forum for god's sake!

I'll have you know that a lot of us aren't spending all our free time posting on forums, quite a few of us are doing this whilst they should be working instead.

I want Uncharted 2, very much so.

Just re-bought Fallout 3 Game of the year edition and it is still every bit ad good.

But Uncharted was the single bets game I have ever played and Im confident Uncharted 2 will replace its position.

But then there are Assasins Creed 2, Modern Warefare 2, MAG, Borderlands, Avatar, Rage, HEavy Rain... I could go on.

But im not addicted.. I swear...

If you refer to the fact that there is most likely hundreds of games out there that were better, more in-depth, more time consuming and life depraving, and me not having played them then...

I think you'll find that means I have lived 8)
