your perfectly entitled to air your views on tiger decks or any such other matters as long as they are in line with the rules of the forum

Yup I am, but I try and add my views on a trick only if they are useful and constructive.

OK
That's it.

Mandrake...

Could you organise two saucers of Full-Fat Cream please? Thanks mate.

Maybe one day there'll be peace, and we can talk joyfully of fairies again, like we did last week...

Of course we can, I was simply expressing my views, I'm just not keen people coming on and contradicting a review to express their own negative views when they have never even seen the trick. But I will say no more, I'm off to drink my milk.

OK... the moment's passed... I'll get my coat...

(oh and by the way, I don't know why I've started using this lilac colour, but I have, and I like it.)

The whoopie cushion Gag is nothing close to this. It will hardly leave a spectator wondering how the heck you did it. It will hardly get a reaction of amazement or shock. It could hardly be used with the greatest of imaginations within a mentalism act.
Even as a pure Gag this could be used while table hopping a whoopie cushion could only be used by a clown table hopping.

At the end of the day, the question is how valid are the opinions of people on a trick that they have never even seen? Sure you can tell from my review whether it is an effect that would fit with your own performance and clearly it isn't, but does that make it bad?

It is clear from my review what the actuall effect is, now for some people it won't be an effect they want, I have no problem with that. However to assume that it is an effect that no one can use, is to me completely wrong.

you obviously havent been paying attention to what ive been saying... I'm only expressing my views. i haven't said it is of no use to anyone
so in MY own very humble opinion I wouldnt waste £13 or even 13p on this

so please be sure of what your arguing aginst before commiting yourself

so now can we please stop this childish nonsense... you can even have the last word if you like if it makes you feel better

Mog Quoted me saying
Quote:
I was simply expressing my views, I'm just not keen people coming on and contradicting a review to express their own negative views

he then said
thats what debate is about when you think on it?

trouble is he had mis-quoted me by finishing the quote in the middle of a sentence.

My point was expressing these negative views when they hadn't even seen the trick.

Whilst it's good to see frank and open debate, I think this thread has run it's full course. Can we draw a line now please?

you still dont get it... i dont need to see the trick... in my opinion it would be a waste of money and effort... its really not a hard concept to grasp...just because i dont own something doesnt mean i cant have an opinion on it... ive never been to Iraq but i think whats going on there is bad... are you saying i shouldnt feel bad because its not happening to me?.... or in my opinion a ferrari is an overpriced lump of metal... just because i dont own it doesnt mean i cant air my views...

seriously dude... in life people are going to disagree with you no matter what you think or say... get over it
