Sorry. I do not agree. The queen of clubs is right even though she is an awful woman and hails from Yorkshire.

Paul. Ann made one post on this forum. I bet she is reading this even though she doesn't want to talk to either of us.

Go and talk to her. Say some bad things about me and she will probably respond. Do a search on this forum for Laricchia.

Paul lazy? Good God! How on earth can you say a thing like that?

Paul is very polite and not used to British rudeness except mine of course. Therefore he will be offended by your statement but not say anything because of Canadian politeness.

Since however he is my friend I will say something instead. The trick didn't belong to MacDonald in the first place.

It was invented by Johann Nepomuk Hofzinser and the original title was "Power of Faith"

I have been in touch with Johann in the spirit world and he informs me that he is perfectly happy with Paul doing his trick and said he did a good job of it.

Smitty. try to use your head, mate. I do not claim the trick is mine. I'm quite surprised you'd accuse me of such a thing. I simply NAMED the video clip, smitty old boy. I know QUITE well which routine I did and figured most viewers would be smart enough to realize that I simply named the clip Barefoot Aces, cuz Im barefoot all the time.

Geez.

Fair enough...but no where have you stated this on the video and the first impression would be that if your name is barefoot and the trick has been named barefoot aces would be that its your aces trick.

well, you assumed wrong. No one ELSE made that assumption. Like I said, try to use your head, please, before jumping to inane conclusions.

It looks like the not so magical Smithy's action of deleting his post didn't work. Paul obviously saw what he said about his alleged great sin in not giving Macdonald credit when he didn't even deserve credit in the first place. As I say it was Hofzinser's trick anyway.

I am amazed at Paul's show of irritation. He hasn't been the same since he was made vice president of the local magic club. In the past he would merely sulk and say nothing if someone upset him. I am glad he is asserting himself. I think he is practicing so that he can confront a big bad ogre called Danny Doyle on the busker's forum. Danny called him a man-child and I am sure that Paul will not be delighted over the matter.

And Paul said "mate" I have never heard a Canadian say "mate" before. Methinks Paul is practicing to be British and God may have mercy on all our souls.

We know. And your inventions have all been recorded in the James Biss book "Messing with Minds". I know full well that James got all his stuff from you but altered everything to have an underwear theme. Not quite what you originally intended. Virtually every trick in his latest disgraceful book has a sexual theme. I cannot possibly approve of tricks entitled "Breastology" especially when the fellow is a high school teacher and is supposed to set an example to the youth of today.

As you and I often say, to paraphrase the famous Al Baker saying, "Many a good trick has been killed by James Biss's improvements" Or as the most illustrious Brad Henderson once stated, "All the good bits are not original and all the original bits are not good"

And yet there is someone on the Genii Forum who is selling the Biss book for $450. James gave me one for free. After reading this I don't think he will give me any more.

Good job really well performed.
As for the false cuts, i dont see why you wouldn't use them at the start of an ace production.

Paul is an expert at wasting time and if he deems that false cuts are the way to do it all power to him. Methinks however a better way of wasting said time is to slowly spread the cards face down on the table and turn them over domino fashion as you have seen me do approximately thirty thousand times. If you need more time then repeat the action but vary it by using one card to turn them over. I am sure I have seen you do this so I know you can.

It is not a big deal in the full context of the trick anyway.

There is a very simple reason why I did not wave flourish the cards; that's because the gimmicked cards would have been exposed.

I have already told you Mark, everything I do, I have thought it through.
