Apparently Steven Seagal is a real cop.

Yeah supposedly in between his B movies and everything, he has been a member of a SWAT team and also a Sheriff. Now he has a reality TV series coming that will show his exploits.

His life seems to be the mixture of being a big joke on everybody and being the worlds most interesting man. Which is kind of odd.

Seagal also had to wear a girdle during a lot of movies because of his doughnut addiction.

the older he gets, the more he whispers too...

i saw one of his recently, and it was brilliant, he couldnt run for more than 5 seconds, so they kept repeating the same scene back to back in a juddering motion for 15 seconds a go...

Well in Akido you don't really NEED to be in perfect or good health. It's mainly about breaks arms and necks. He also runs like a girl. But that's besides the point. I am curious to see how he handles himself has an actual cop and not somebody who goes around blowing stuff up and killing guys after he interrogates them.

If Seagal is a real cop, he should arrest the trichologist who transplanted pubic hair onto his head.

Not that any agents of the state would ever do this.

Steve was a real undercover agent attached to the CIA until he had an "accident" that nearly killed him... he's always carried a badge but shifted away from the more dangerous role and serves more as a consultant and trainer now days, more than anything else when it comes to law enforcement.

Did you know that he also has a very large investment in agriculture?

He grows organic plants used in making herb based medicines, tinctures and homeopathic treatments. He likewise sponsors one of the L.A. areas more recognized schools on Eastern Medicine where students learn the proper use of Herbs for treatment as well as Acupuncture over a 3-5 year period. I know about this "Emperor's College" in that I was invited to be a part of it many years ago but passed on the opportunity... I'm still kicking myself over that :?

Ok take the CIA thing with a grain of salt.

The martial arts community (of which I am a part) is very small especially when you get to the level that Steven did in Akido. Now granted his 7th don aka black belt was honorary for what he did for the art in movies but he actually was a very proficient martial artist.

So there are sub rumors in that community that essentially he was asked some questions by the CIA on how Akido fits within the asian culture in general.

That was the extent of his involvement he has never been involved with law enforcement until after his movie career.

I think just now he is on active duty. Tho the guy can't really run, so when somebody escapes on foot, he has to sit in the car and look angry.

He was quite randomly playing with his "band" somewhere in Northampton a few years back.

I considered going in case a bar brawl broke out and he broke everyones neck but alas I was busy.

My information on Steven came thru Frank Dux during my days of working for him as an instructor in the Van Nuy's dojo.

AH the sham that is Frank Dux

You do know he's the laughing stock of the Martial Arts world right?

Believe what you will but the vast majority of people believe he's making it all up.

Neither here nor there tho anyone can put Frank's name in google and form their own opinions.

I remember reading about Frank Dux. Supposed he sued van Damme because Van Damme made him look bad or something. Tho I recall the people who knew him before the film, said he wasn't anything like he wrote about himself in the book.
