You two are cruisin' for a bruisin' in that Commer. In the shin region, to be precise. Good luck, chaps.

Livin' life to the max out there on the very edge of danger - and wearing 6 sets of shin pads...

You lot are really horrible, I'm going to remember this! You're all just lucky that it's Christmas and that I'm aching too much otherwise it wouldn't just be your shins that would be getting a kicking!

Ladies and Gentlemen, the time we’ve all been waiting for is upon us. Don your bestest frocks, pour a glass of champagne and take your seats. It’s time to announce the results of the Talk Magic Awards 2009.

TM Member of the Year
A closely fought contest but our winner is…. Mandrake

New Commer of the Year

Another close one with more nominations than any other category but the winner is, Reverend Tristan

Thinker of the Year
This one goes to the master of everything electronic, Tomo

Reviewer of the Year
Another close one but the winner is, Dat

Most Helpful Memeber

In an unprecedented landslide victory, with 80% of the votes, the winner is, Lady of Mystery (whoop, whoop)

Most Likely to be Bingoed
This year’s king of filth is the one and only, Beardy.

Member You'd Most Like to Meet
The member that you’d all love to meet (well those of you who voted for her would anyway) is the wonderful, Lady of Mystery (more whoop, whoops)

Member You'd Most Like to String Up and Pelt With Rotten Tomatoes and Fish Heads
We’ve got a dead heat in this competition so we’ll save the tomatoes for the Almighty Mark Lewis and the fish heads for Damian Jennings

Best Post of the Year
Goes to the thread that finds it’s way back to the top of the forum more times than a bubbly to the top thing, the Reality is Plastic Review

Most Memorable Moment of 2009
This goes to our master puppeteer, Mark Lewis and his many sock puppets

Lifetime Achievement Award
Two people have been swapping the lead in this category the whole way through voting but I can now announce that the winner of the lifetime achievement award is………. (dramatic X-Factor style pause)………………..

Mandrake

Well done to all the winners and thanks so much to everyone who voted.

Just a little word of warning to the MagicWand, I think you may have yourself a rather worrying stalker :D

I've had a few problems sorting out the prize for member of the year that I had in mind, I'll see if I can organise that in the New Year....

Merry Christmas all...

Well done Mandrake... proving himself to be one of the most valuable members on the board and receiving Lifetime Achievement TWICE now... A true mark of respect.

Yes well done Mandrake!

The only other person who won two awards was the wonderful Becky... who also just happened to be counting the votes...

If I had not voted for her (although I cannot remember which category) it might almost be suspect. :D

Well done on arranging and correlating the numbers Becky.
