New Job

Postby jacko » Dec 1st, '09, 20:23

Just got home knackered from my first day in a new job. After 13 years I have left the civil service and am now a proud member of the voluntary sector.

But by god a new job is tiring!!!

Hope it goes well. By the way, your avatar is a bit scary. Reminds me of The Ring.

Yeah I chose it about a year ago when I was feeling particularly unpositive (!) about life and it sort of summed up how I felt about things.

Sincere congratulations from the old one. You have my admiration for you have done what your heart desires and not what your pocket yearned. You are to be highly commended. Be proud for you have realised that life is short. Bless you. Much love. Kryzal x

Thanks for the very kind words Kryzal.

I can't claim to be any sort of altruist, I am working in a charity head office and still earning a salary rather than giving my time for nothing. But even a paydrop is worth it to fel like you are achieving something good.
