Can I just say, I've just spent an hour writing a review of Marvin's Magic Card Collection - A Collection of over 250 Card Tricks.

When I came to post it... the forum told me it was an 'invalid session'! I'm gutted! I've lost it all!

And my back's killing me cos I've been sitting funny all this time!

...damn invalid session...

check it out the review may still have been posted also if it happens again click the back button and copy and save your work then try to repost it as it may go through.

Thanks for the tip. It wasn't posted though. Tried going back, but I realised I opened a new browser window since then so I really have lost it now.

Do you have the forum set to log you in automatically? If I remember right it you set it up to do this your sessions won't expire.
(I might have got this completely wrong but I do remember seeing something along those lines in the FAQ or on the phpBB forum).

also, while we are in tip mode, if you are on dial-up and it redials while you type it wont post it, auto sign in or not you only do it once though huh.

Yeah I'm on auto sign-in. I did have a brief MSN conversation during the posting, but the browser window was up all the time.

I'm gonna write all my longish posts in word now, then copy and paste them over.

...I'm happier now. Sleeping on it has mellowed my anger...

When I have a lot to say on a forum I do it in notepad first, save it, then post. Especially if I want to rant about something - I write it in notepad then wait a day. Most of the time I end up not posting cos I've calmed down a little
