Read Minds

Postby sylvothementalist » Dec 22nd, '09, 17:29

I looking for ways to "read" minds like this:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YCACF-EU ... L&index=34

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1LqZHyANzns&feature=fvw

Is there any book or video that teaches you techniques on how to do this?

I have tried to "read" some people I know and I got it kinda right. :)

I used the eye movement technique and a mixture of some other, but I want more exact and specific results!

Thanks! :)

I think you should introduce yourself and tell the forum a bit about yourself.

Hello, Sylvo. I don't think there is such a thing as "exact and specific results" when it comes to this sort of thing. Same goes for psychological forces. If you tell us a bit about yourself and what experience you have, you'll find that you're likely to get better advice.

I have now introduced my self at the "Introductions" section!

Hope this will help! :)

Ok, so you're new to Mentalism and as such I must ask, how long have you been working with Annemann and Corinda? This are the foundation sources everyone really needs to know before they are ready to venture into the other aspects of the craft. Too, you will need to weigh which path within mentalism you plan to walk; the Dunninger mold in which magic & mentalism are blended together; or the more traditional "Old School" route (many call it the Nelson mold these days, because of the Robert Nelson influence) in which you're a purest that deliberately distances himself from traditional magic as best possible and thus, strives for a more esoteric sense of "belief" from their audience vs. the analytical & logic modes common to the other (such as you see Brown, Banachek and others use).

You might want to take a look here http://www.talkmagic.co.uk/ftopic11429.php for the sake of getting a realistic overview as to what the majority of real world workers have done to get to where they are.
