Might be pretty useful for keeping props and things in the order you need them during a performance. You could have a small one hidden somewhere as well, and say you were using a TT, all you would need to do it secretly slide your thumb over the pad and it would be pulled of, and stuck on the pad, leaving your hands clean after the trick.

its not sticky, it only stops things from moving when horizontal.
so, it's only use for sure, is as a close up mat.

you might be able to use this stuff as a lining for holders though.

It would probably grip a deck of cards of a jumbo coin really well.

Is there anything on the market that is like a sticky pad that could be used to ditch stuff? Something that could go on the back of a belt or a similar place so you could just scoop up a card/coin/spectators underpants and stick the back there?

If not someone should invent one.

yes.

there used to be a gimmick, that was basicaly a tin filled with soft wax.

you could hook this onto the back of your trousers, and ditch small items, like coins, thimbles, ect by pushing it into the wax.

nowadays of course, you could, providing the item was suitable, just have a magnet in your back pocket.
then you have the old hoo - items. These could be ditched very well. :)

it wouldnt have to be "sticky" when ditching a TT, as the friction would pull it off when you dragged your thumb across it.

I always liked Guy Hollingworth's way of ditching cards (if you're looking for the method, consult the mysterious dip in the control panel of the photocopier at work).

Just always remember to get them back again and not to turn around with coins stuck all over your bum

According to the Video it can be used vertically. It shows a piece of colourd card being attached . It appears that some kind of stange gel is used so maybe even upside down works. maybe ill email the vendor for some more infon and report back ASAP

There is a actually a Scientific website that is devoted to magic materiels with special properties that i came across in a Scientific Journal. Ill have to look this up again as they have many application items similar to this device mentioned but aimed at maigicians so the site claims. They advertise in New Scientist mag about twice a year

presumably dust will stick to it too, reducing the friction / adhesion over time, requiring cleaning.

Perhaps this could keep a close-up case tidy.
