BIC pen help

Postby Yano » Jan 25th, '10, 11:45

Hi I'm just wondering does anyone here know a easy method to get both ends of a round stic BIC pen off? The tip part is easy but the back/end part is awfully hard.

Thanks in advance.

How about using a blunt knife?

i need it to not break the round tube or either of the ends. I dont have a blunt knife that can fit inside the pen, or u mean try scrape it out on the outside where the end is? I dont think that would work without denting the end.

you can push it out from the inside, with the aid of a thin piece of doweling. or a metal skewer.. do take care when doing it that your head is a distance away though. Otherwise you might loose an eye.

Been trying with a wooden one before no luck with that, might have to try a metal one. Thanks

what yo uneed to do, is bang the other end on a table, dont try pushing it out. It should go.. there only push fit.

If you are using these for the effect that I think you are then there is no need to get the other end out of the pen... it's air/liquid tight!

I made up a bunch of these last week to dot around my office and house if you need any more help Yano then just PM me

thanks for the advice. However i have tried to push it out with a stick, its too tight to be pushed out, and when i force it out the top part the middle circle bit just pops out not the whole end.

Just a question have you's tried to remove the end of the round stic bic pen b4? Or are u just saying this from logic? Cause of course i know pushing it out would be logical but its not working.

Magick i dont think its the same effect, mine is for Pointless.

Try holding the end of the pen in hot water and see if that helps free things up a little.
