Luverly bunch of coconuts (no palm jokes please)

Postby TheGreatSebastiano » Jan 26th, '10, 00:18

Hi - I plan to load and produce two average sized coconuts at the end of an over-sized cup and ball routine. Only trouble is I'm not sure of the best way to conceal them on my person. They should be held in the small of my back (I have plenty of costume cover) but how? I thought about maybe creating larger billiard ball hoop-holders and pinning then inside my jacket, but they don't scale up very well.

I'd be grateful if anyone can advise!

Will this be stage or close up? If it's on stage you could have a slightly lower table between you and the main table? Admittedly I know very little about the cups and balls and you will most likely get some better advice from Dat, but I liked your avatar so much I just had to give you a reply.

I've seen your profile and website and now I'm confused as to what to think. Your occupation as a messageboard troll makes me nervous, but your desire for a book bound in human skin gives me hope. I wasn't aware in my first post that I was looking at a pair of testicles but that only improves the image in my mind. I will be watching you closely, both online and through your bedroom window.

Seb,

Will I be getting a preview of this effect? you always impress me with your thinking which is so outside the box it keeps your style original.

(The great sebastiano has a great chop cup routine)

I will get my thinking cap on regarding your hairy coconuts :? lol

Will we be seeing you on Thurs?

Lee.

Thanks for all the PM suggestions. In the end I went with a modified back pocket and a loosened belt. Seemed to get away with it.

Just a quick thought on the original post...
...would a pouch of the type used by Gazzo and others of that style of performance be out of the question for holding large loads? That routine tends to end with a hat-filling final load and there seems to be no issue there.

Of course, pouches aren't for everyone.

I saw this live,

It was very entertaining, Seb's style is always a bit different and I never know what to expect.

A great show from a great magician.
