This DVD was regularly quoted on this site at one time as a very good teaching source. I suppose that time, and the disappearance from the forum of one young man who was a great fan of this, has moved it out of peoples sight a bit but it remains a very useful solid piece of work.
The routines themselves are very serviceable and useable in most close up situations and the whole "how to perform" aspect is very sound.
I like DVDs that show the performance of the trick in real situations, not just studio shots. This is how James Brown's DVDs are produced. James DVDs are more technical and advanced than Born to Perform but again have a godd deal of performance content as well as tricks and explanations.
