Excellent! It's great to have something like this happening in Solihull. Unfortunately I'm at uni, but I'll try and make it back - would be great to support the evening and hopefully encourage more such events. There's very, very little of this kind of this thing going on in the area, which is a shame.

Good luck chaps, hopefully see you there! :)

Very interested in this one!

Edit: And booked - very easy, use that phone number, speak to Ceri (pronounced 'Kerry') and it's all well sorted!

Hi everyone

The evening begins at 7.30 pm with dinner at 8pm. There will be some close up in the bar and all being well there will be a charity rafle. Paul will also be offering tarot readings before and after.

We've had to pay the deposit to the hotel to confirm the booking so we need to sell 38 tickets to break even. We would like to sell many more and we have up to 100 places as the aim is to raise another £1,000 + to be able to buy some specialist equipment for local physically and mentally handicapped children.

If you can't make it yourself then please would you circulate the details amongst your contacts in the area. If the event gets the support then there will be more but as you will appreciate, a charity cannot afford to put funds at risk and then lose it. If this happens then it will be the first and last which would be a shame as we'd like to bring different magic and mystery performers into future shows.

Therefore, please PLEASE give your support and buy your tickets as soon as possible.

Thats one of the things that always passes through my mind, I've never seen him perform either.

I'm really looking forward to it, I'm really honoured to be working with Paul and David.

Come on put your hand in your pockets and you can come see my very special ring

For anyone wondering where the Ramada is, it also goes by the original name of The George and is right opposite St.Alphege Church at the top end of Solihull High Street, plenty of parking at the Hotel and also in Touchwood car park nearby - reduced price after 6pm as well.

Bad news folks, I've just been advised that this event has been cancelled as tickets aren't selling as required for the evening to be viable.

This is indeed bad news and as I've now written to Paul and Tristan regarding the cancellation I can say a little more.

The charity were faced with having to ay a £1,000 deposit and they had held off paying as late as they could. It was just too much of a risk for them with only two tickets sold to date (thanks Mandrake), despite lots of people saying that they would definately come along (not all from TM I hasten to add).

I know that Paul, Tristan and myself were all very much looking forward to the evening and perhaps it has been a matter of timing with Easter only a week on from this event.

Therefore, we have postponed the evening rather than fully cancelled it and we hope to ressurrect it later on in the year.

Sorry about the cancellation. Hopefully we can still make this happen later in the year.
