If you know the stuff well enough, which I'm sure you do, you'll be amazed how your nerves melt away the second you hit the stage.

Stage stuff is terribly addictive. Some of my favourite moments performing magic are those times when you pull off something really cheeky in front of a massive audience, and no one spots it.

Have you thought about taking your show to the Edinburgh Fringe? It's not exactly cheap, but there's nothing like 28 shows on the trot to perfect your stage material.

Just think "what's the worst that could happen?".

I suppose you could mess up your first routine. The audience start to boo. You mess up the second routine. They boo more. You start to cry. They throw things at you. You run off stage in a panic. Audience rushes the stage and starts to trash the joint. The police arrive to quell the riot. Thereby drawing resources away from a terrorist operation. The terrorists sieze the opportunity and detonate a suit case bomb - wiping out half of Wales. Obsolete Russian cold-war systems pick up the blast and automatically launch a counter attack. America retaliates. NUCLEAR HOLOCAUST your name is Beard!!!
