Time appears to be moving much faster these days.
Seriously.. Where did the weekend go?
no joke, just lately the weekend feels like half a day.
Has the Hadron Colider done something that they havent told us about?

Time does seem to speed up as you get older. Apparently, it's because each day is a gradually becoming a smaller proportion of the amount of time you've spent alive. The trick is to live life without dead time, as the Situationalists used to say. Fill every minute and time slows down again.

Does spending your whole morning reading magic forums instead of doing the work you're paid to do count as 'filling every minute'?

As long as you're actively using the time, I don't see why not.

Hmm, I appear to spend a lot of it making flippant comments in the Doves Head. It's cheaper than reading the reviews section and then buying loads of lovely books I don't have time to read at the moment.

I like the maxim, that any given moment in your life, you should be doing either the thing you ought to, or the thing you want to. Anything that is none of those, is just a waste of time.

I hate to correct you all, but time moving faster has very little to do with age... It's actually because I've been holding you all upside down as part of a magic trick..
flash scratches his head and wonders if anyone will get his obscure reference, and if they do whether it counts as exposure?

Sounds like you need a pretty girl on your lap to help time slow down (and avoid dentists) !!

Time speeding up sounds like a government conspiracy to me... we aren't actually living longer (as they would have you believe), the days are just getting shorter!

I hate to break it to you old friend, but the more years we accumulate in life, the faster the days, weeks and months pass
