I've just seen an advert for this in the local paper: http://www.thelowry.com/event/Jus-Like-That

Monday 22nd - Saturday 27th February. Stars Clive Mantle. Should be a hoot.

I saw that a few years ago when Jerome Flynn was in it - and he was great as Tommy C!

I seem to remember the show itself dragged a little in the middle, suprising as it was directed by Simon Callow at that time - but I may well venture up to the Lowry to check out this run!

Clive Mantle... great choice! He has the right kind of build to Play Tommy. Is Geoff Durham still involved with the show?

you're like Yoda.you dont say much, but what you do say is worth listening to....

Yes Geoffrey Durham is still very much involved.

I saw it the other night in Guildford and have to say that Clive Mantle was absolutely faultless. Brilliant voice and mannerisms (and as a big fan of TC I'm very critical!).

I also saw the show a few years ago with Jerome Flynn who I remember as being great too. It was interesting to see how the show has changed for the new run, the origial version had the 2nd act all set in the dressing room with TC giving a long monologue about his life and did show more of the darker side. This new version has a shorter scene in the dressing room and shows more of him on stage performing.

All in all it was fantastic and I would recommend it to anyone with more than a passing interest in magic or Tommy, I think it's on tour until June
