I'm a newbie. Hello to all at talk magic!

Excited to have joined this site, looking forward to communicating with others with an interest in magic.

I love all magic and when I first started, about 8 years ago, I realized I was good with cards. (not so good with coins but I have a couple of gimmicks which give the 'illusion' of skill). My main interest is mentalism.

I have only had internet access for a month and never realised how much was out there for magicians.

I have (obviously) done many informal tricks and routines for friends and suchlike and have been hired a few times for friends of friends parties. The most prestigious performance was for a friends boss which combined magic and a few other things and went down really well.

I am by no means a professional, but I will take any opportunity to do what I do. looking forward to getting/giving advice (probably more getting to start with) and talking to magicians of all kinds.
