What a plonker  Unfair to call him a magician if his idea of "magic" is to do something over and over again until the spectator realises the method.

Weird. Looks like he let Becks figure it out so as to not make him seem stupid, then the Sun reports it in a way that makes him look stupid.

On the great question of repeating tricks- I have found that if my initial reluctance and excuses does not alleviate thier irritating request to watch a trick again, I'll only do it with a different method. I do an add a number routine which using a swami first of all which allows the numbers to be named aloud, then the classic switch p** and then a finale involving a chicken, two teaspoons of cinnemon and a spectator's grandmother. The idea is that the weaknesses in one method can be alleviated by a different method- I thought it was my theory for about 4 months until I found out it wasn't (Tamariz is probably most noted for that idea) :(

What was this guy's motivation for doint his exactly.. and it's a bit rich calling him a 'magician' surely? He presented it as a puzzle to be solved and so it was....

James, 19, Lifelong student of magic and will carry on learning for the rest of my days if I'm a very lucky boy.
