Hey.

Looking around magic sites I've seen loads of magic dvd's based on coin magic, or magic which requires objects which I don't carry with me on a daily basis - such as a balloon...

Can anybody recommend a DVD that focusses on card magic, and preferably card magic which doesn't require gimmicks. Gimmicks aren't really suitable for me, since I mostly perform around school, and I can't carry a heap of gimmicks around with me.

I'm looking for something at the intermediate level - not to simple

Easy answer. Lee Smiths Step System. It's almost all card stuff from a shuffled deck.
