Well I can't find it linked to from his site anywhere, so it's hidden enough for those worried :)

Which is better than his old site, which I believe had a link from the frontpage

This really is a good video, I regularly use two or three routines that are on there. If you've not got it then it should be top of your shopping lists.

This video is fantastic. But don't you dare get it! That's not just me being selfish and jealous  but.. yeah, Yes it is.
But be warned, it is very depressing. Material that we would harbour for careers lasted this man a phase of his career and then he moved on from it. To really rub salt into our wounds the man even says they're not all complete routines that he has bothered with, just some stuff he is working on and that is going round his head. The attention to detail and very thoughtful crafting of each trick, even if it isn't a 'polished' routine as he'd say, is insipriational, if not, as I said, incredibly depressing.

You have to remember that mr. brown pulled pure effect and absolute magic off the market for a reason, so its unlikely they're comiong back. He doesn't need the money (being insanely famous and all) and the picturebook is his "donation" to the magic world.

If you're one of us lucky few, the first run of PE's included another routine...one that he later performed on TV and as a result changed it for the second and all subsequent runs.

I really don't think we have too much to worry about with this being re-released (and the possible re-publication of PE and AM).

Most laymen won't know about DB's past as a cardician (or whatever they like to call themselves) and they certainly won't want to put in the hours of practice needed to pull off even half of the effects included on the DPB.

In terms of AM/PE being made available again, I don't see that as being a huge problem either. Neither are aimed at 'beginners', neither go into much detail about performing the sleights required - if someone is committed enough, once buying one of the products, to going back and putting in the groundwork required to pull off something like 'Smoke' or 'Zamiels Rose', then I think we should be welcoming them into our world!!!

To be fair, DB (and his management team) have probably just got a bit miffed at the inflated prices for the products on Ebay!!!

(and, anyway, most laypeople will just marvel at the luxuriousness of Derren's hair in DPB anyway!)

I'm slightly surprised that he's stuck to the same password, but that's none of my business.

Definitely a must-buy while it's available. Even if you can never hope to match the skills on show, it's an inspiring thing to watch and pick up what you can.

I tried typing in Houdin's name about 15 different ways since I didn't know whether to count the Jean and dash, so I really had no way of knowing it wasn't him until I tried all of them. Then I remembered him.
