its really good, the devil's picturebook, worth it, i use the routines all the time and they can be easily adapted, i also reccomend his book, pure effect, bit pricy, but also worth it,
one word of advice is, if you have pure effect, dont buy the devil's picturebook, :)

I disagree. If you can, get both, PE is priced extortionatley give it's origional price that was 20 quid, but even then, still worth it. Pure effect is invaluable because of what it says about performance and Derren's philosophy, although obviously not as in depth as absolute magic. Pure effect also has some great material in there (not all of which is included in dpb depending on which edition you have) which dpb don't go into and the videos have stuff which pure effect doesn't go into. Dpb is nice to watch, not only because of fantastic material, but because it demonstrates the care and thinking that goes into each of his effects. At 40 quid that is a flipping bargain!

This is great, but you can spend 40 quid on a lot better.
