Signed bank note to ?

Postby taffy » Mar 26th, '10, 19:18

Hi Guys,

Im looking for new ideas of a signed bank note (Bill to our American friends) to an impossible location.

I'm thinking along the lines that the note appears to be destroyed in the process, just to add a bit more excitement to it!

I know there are loads of different versions out there, but I'm hoping that collectively we can come up with new ideas and methods.

Over to you!

Impossible is nothing, if you only believe!

Signed Banknote to Wallet actually makes a lot more sense that Signed Card to Wallet.

You should get yourself a copy of Switch by John Lovick, there are some cracking bill to impossible location, and transposition plots in there.

As far as apparently destroying it goes, I am all for Daryl's version of apparently tearing a banknote and restoring it.. I think it's on one of his lecture tapes..

You're exactly right Pete, this is what I 'm thinking, but before it appears in my wallet I 'm toying with the idea of destroying the note, but not burning it as I've set off a fair few detectors over the years! The only other option is to tear or rip it, but I can't really find a valid enough reason for doing this except the old ' test its authenticity' stunt!

Thanks for the ideas so far though!

You could always tear it by 'mistake' while snapping it. Or present it as a torn and restored which goes wrong and ends up vanishing, offering them one of your bills as replacement which turns out to be the original signed bill.

There's also the Russian Roulette/reverse banknight idea of shredding four out of five envelopes in the mad hope that the spec's money is in the one you save...

If your Card To Wallet allows you to load the note into an envelope, you've got some nice continuity there too. :)
