I just thought I'd ask you all to keep your collective fingers crossed for me as I have an audition for Cirque Du Soleil on the 17th of April in Vancouver!!!!

I've been working towards this for a wee while and it's been the focus of what I've been up to in Canada, so I'm very excited. I still have to devise a 2 minute piece for it, so I have my work cut out but I've got three weeks to put it together and the virtual help of some very fine minds so I hope it'll be good...

Yaaaaay!!!!!
:D :D :D

Cirque Du Soleil? Wow! Good Luck! :)

Barton: Have you read the Bible, Pete?
Pete: Holy Bible?
Barton: Yeah.
Pete: Yeah, I think so. Anyway, I've heard about it.

Break a leg as they say.

A truly great opportunity!

My audition day is drawing very near. I leave for Vancouver on Thursday, so I can attend a free talk being given by Marc Andre-Roy (one of the casting agents) on 'being a physical actor/clown at Cirque du Soleil'.

My two minute piece is fairly much there, I'm not sure it's going to do the job, but I guess that's what all the other candidates will be thinking too.

I am quite nervous about it, but discovering that it's World Circus Day 2010 on the same day as my audition spurred me on a little (dont'cha just love life's little coincidences)?

Anywho thanks for being so supportive guys.

as long as you can apear confident you'll shine through, so take a second before you go on and say to your self, could be worse..... I could be ugly too.

Hey there guys, thanks for all your well wishing, but I'm afraid twas not to be and I wasn't successful this time.

Oh well onwards and upwards, I'm sure something else will come along and as long as it's not carrying a machete and wearing a hockey mask I'll be happy... :D

unlucky my friend - but you know what they say! If at first you don't succeed, then sky diving is probably not for you...

I feel targeted. I was innocently yielding a machete and wearing my performance hockey mask and reading through this and then I came across your comments
