no honour amoung thieves

I am absolutly fuming.

Really angry.

About seven months ago, I came up with an idea to subtly enhance my performance. I now find out the person who used my template to make the actual thing for me
Is using it freely word for word in places with the same template as the original for promoting sales and is contained within
Another of their effects.

Not one word of credit. Not one.

I'm soooo anal about giving thanks etc to peeps (which prob bugs them lol) and this has really upset me

You magi are all ... Well it will get censored so ...fill the gaps.

Fingers burnt, lesson learnt which is a shame

So don't bother asking me for anything, those who do and you know who you are ...

Hey Harris,

Sorry to hear about that, but please don't tar everyone with the same brush. Not everyone on here is a bad apple.

'Arris, theres no shame in naming and shaming...

name them! name them! name them! name them! name them! name them! name them! name them! name them! name them! name them! name them! name them! name them! name them! name them! name them! name them! name them! name them! name them!

i was speaking to Ron Martin about certain things a few weeks ago - he says "have at it - whats the problem?" meaning if someone is a shyster...let people know it...you're helping the community that way, and only give permission to that person to do it again if they are not 'punished'.

Like a dog really, if it continually s**ts on your armchair and you dont tell it off in front of the family...how will it learn?

what he said v.2

also - bearing in mind i dont know what this is about..it could be anyone, and frankly...who cares who he/she is...unfortunately - its now your responsibility to make sure they don't do it to others...and you have to do it publicly...

i hope the moderators understand that point too...like they did when that guy was going rip off Christo's billet pencil...

I invented something a while back (nothing to do with magic) and before I discussed it with anyone I had to get them to sign a non-disclosure agreement. It never actually made it to a patent, but the person I worked with was not able to discuss or use the invention for a number of years without my written permission.

Sorry to hear that you have been betrayed, and I think you have every right to be angry.

It's a shame that we live in a world where we have to sign a contract so that our thoughts aren't plaigurised  . It would be nice to think I'm entering a community where I can discuss magic ideas and trust people.. but you can't though. It's always the minority who mess it up for the majority *sigh*. I don't want to sound like a parrot- but it would help everyone if they knew who not to trust. We don't need to keep cleaning our dog's poo from our armchairs.

I agree, but in reality, it's a bit naive to think that we can trust everyone. So if we don't clean the poo off, we'll end up smellin' of it.

But the question is how can we tell who is a poo and who is not a poo? And what armchair they'll poo on?
Ok.. we need to stop this analogy.
But seriously, Lennon's 'imagine' is naive, but true. I have mentioned John Lennon twice in two days.. if only this was a game.
