Tracking down two effects ASAP

Postby Harry Guinness » Apr 9th, '10, 20:04

Right,

I need to track down two effects for an act and need them quick!

The first is a mentalism one where there's a prediction rolled up in bottle, apparently it's marketed as something along the lines of 'message in a bottle' or some such.

Second is a bottle production used on one of the Max Magic shows on Sky a few years back. Bottle was produced in a ball of flame. I haven't seen it but apparently it's super visual, anyone know if it's a marketed effect or just a splash bottle gimmick?

If i recall the one on max magic isn't practical at all and can barely be performed in real life,I would go for splash.

the bottle is gilligans prediction ,, bi ttricky and not wholly angle proof but done right a blinding effect.
splash bottle with a suitable flash unit would be a lovely opener

Thanks for the replies. Gilligan's is out as the bottles too small for other stuff.

For the message in bottle effect why not just roll up a prediction inside a bottle, then use a sw*mi, or a for*e, or something similar. or even a sw*tch.
