I do not. Is it very good?
We should discuss this, at length, over red wine on Saturday.

if I have time I'll bring a small bottle of wine made from his book. Very unique I must say!

Give me an excuse either way!

David Regal for me. A bit to cheesy for UK audiences but in general i like his thinking and his scripting.

His early videos are great to watch and i see him last year at a lecture where he impressed greatly

Also Micheal Vincent is a true pro and a really good persona. I have all his works as well. Rhapsody In Silver is like real Magic

Thirdly Jay Sankey for inspiration.

Paul Daniels is perhaps the most entertaining.
I love Derren Brown.
For the third there are so many but Bill Malone, Peter Marvey and Michael Finney, spring immediately to mind.

You make a good point...

Is there anyone more 'magiciany' than Paul Daniels? He just IS the part of a magician!

I think.... in no particular order (and on this particular day)

Michael Finney - for just being able to strike the exact balance between comedy and magic.

Paul Daniels - for pretty much the same reasons as above and his consumate audience management skills. I agree with the above posts - he just is a magician.

Penn & Teller (Do they count as a single act!) - For just being so bloody good and making 'exposure' even more baffling than the tricks themselves! :-)

I know the difference between tempting and choosing my fate

I'm quite the Paul Daniels fan too. Love Pete Firman and I guess that I've got to say Derren too.

I'm enjoying this post so far and it's interesting to see some familiar names re-appearing against some not familiar ones.

Lennart Green almost made my top three but with his focus being just n cards I went for those with more variety whereas Tommy Wonder, to my shame I did forget about him.

1. Eugene Burger
2. Derren Brown
3. Teller (and Penn)

I guess what I like about them is that they do thoughtful magic rather than just tricks.

In the beginning I disliked Penn and Teller, because I felt they were putting down magic, but I now think that they are more like the "negative side" of Eugene Burger - they are exposing magicians and magic tricks when they are being pointless. And then they go on and do a thing like Teller's "Shadows" which is pure beauty.

Derren Brown was the guy who got me interested in mentalism (first) and then magic. I think he is very entertaining, especially in his live shows.

Eugene Burger is the best, so I don't think any explaining is required :)
