Does anyone know if a bitten and restores spoon exists?

Not that I am aware of. But remember the curve of the bowl will mean you cant use the same method as the coin.

you could use black art, but you would have to be wearing a black jacket to do it.
( and only use a tea spoon, prefferably white plastic)

or you could use a pre bitten second bowl, and hide the original bowl a-la Williamsons spoon bend.

you're like Yoda.you dont say much, but what you do say is worth listening to....

It might be funny simply to bite and *not* restore. If you can make the bitten spoon cheap enough you can leave it behind. People who bend metal don't usually unbend it again after :)

Our local 99p store has 'chromium plated' plastic disposable cutlery, they're with the camping gear alongside the wooly socks, mess tins etc. Check locally in case these might be of use.. other than for eating your cornflakes, of course.....

Chris

It's an old idea, just get a drimmel multitool and do it yourself! You can get any details you require on there easy enough

That, to me, just screams gimmick out loud. It makes it look like you can only do it with your specially engraved forks. Why not just do the standard fork bends, and attach a little luggage type business card to it when you have done the routine.

Makes the whole routine seem a lot more impromptu that way

Just my 2 cents

I don't mean gimmcky as in cheesy - I mean gimmicky as in it looks like a specially made magicians prop. I would bet that any spectator who saw an engraved fork with a magicians name on it would think something dodgy was going on. That's why I suggested a little tag or something similar....

I know what you meant mate...but I disagree I always take my cutlery with me...and I get asked about it....I have nothing to hide and the audience can genuinley see that...In the 3 years Ive been solidly performing metal bending for the majority of my act....Ive never once has a client walk away thinking that they wer gaffed or gimmiced or prepared forks in anyway....but then again my handling is da vinci :D

If youve got good par with your audience and your a persuasive performer nothing should be questioned my friend...You can walk upto them with a potatoe and tell them its a frog, and if your on par and ballsy enought sure thing theyll see a frog there...little things like what my forks look like or if my prop looks gaffed doesnt even come into my head...Its something the majority of magicians hinder themselves over and it shouldnt even be in the equation to start with...If your confident in the handling of your tools so will "they" be...
