The new open world western from Rockstar 'Red Dead Redemption' is coming out in just over a month and i really am excited.

I know the majority of you most probably don't play video games but as far as entertainment goes i don't think you can get much better!

Huge sandbox world, awesome Rockstar gameplay and online free roam with a possee of up to 8 people should be insane!

I can not wait to lassoo some poor innocent townsfolk and drag them up and down the mountains tied to the back of my horse, i mean come on GTA in the wild west is going to be historic to say the least.

Any of you guys gamers/anticipating RDR?

How rude! I'm living the rock n roll life and listening to Pete Tong. Innit, brap brap

But no, I'm not a gamer :)

I play computer games constantly. But not a big fan of action-type games. My main genre is adventure, which has sadly all but died in recent decades.

Currently playing Lost in Blue on the DS, and replaying Myst on the PC.

I've spent the last 5 working days ill. Cue tons of World of Warcraft, and practicing the one handed popover whilst waiting for a PuG for HOL...

Watching: Jeeves and Wooster

You guys have clearly not played Bad Company 2 yet!

Though Lenoir has a point in that MW1 was actually a much better multiplayer game, get the feeling they put a little too much effort into MW2 and a little too much time listening to the Gamefaqs forums!

Red Dead Redemption has got to be Game of The year, although we shall see when it comes out, the adventure side of things are overloaded with stuff to do!

Modern Warfare 2 is rubbish. The campaign rules but online is just rushed, badly maintained and boring.

Lawrence, glad somebody has the same good sense as me, Battlefield Bad Company 2 is insane! I love the explosive environments and the feeling when you pick someone off with a sniper from 600 metres away is fantastic.

Im not much of a Space Invaders fan, although i have a terrible tendency to become glued to the original version of Frogger. Used to love that as a kid.

Sigh.... Commodore 64s and ZX Spectrums.. Tape decks with white tippex marks on the volume wheels to ensure the game would load properly. Those were the days, eh?

On the original subject - I, for one as a 38yr old, cannot WAIT to get my hands on Red Dead Redemption. I've always been a frustrated cowboy so I am looking forward to giving my inner outlaw full rein! (no pun intended!)
