"Investigating", not exposing. I read an interview recently where he said his goal wasn't exposure as that is purely negative. It is questioning and trying to understand why they succeed.

Despite being a psychic myself I am a big fan of Randi. That speech was as funny as hell. I don't think I will apply for his million dollars though. I heard the funds were being held by Goldman Sachs.

The ironic thing is that a few years ago I was arguing with sceptics that I was highly dubious concerning the existence of the million dollars and they countered that it was being held by Goldman Sachs. Being British I had never heard of this bank so I said so and that I didn't trust them. They all went nuts saying what a respectable well known bank it was and if I didn't trust Randi at least I could trust Goldman Sachs. This is why I find the present fuss about Goldman Sachs hilarious! I just wish it had happened when I was arguing with the sceptics.

For Mr Brown's own description of what he is going to do in these shows:

I approached each of these situations with a balance: of a hope to be convinced, and an understanding of how easily we can be duped. It was a fascinating journey.
