Monthly magic meet - 3rd May

Postby TheStoner » Apr 20th, '10, 19:16

The next big London meet-up will be on 3rd May (Bank Holiday Monday).

Everyone is welcome - just come along to the Nag's Head pub (right by Covent Garden tube) any time from about 1pm onwards. Have a chat, drink some beer, swap ideas, marvel at the skills of the professionals, try routines out on random members of the public, meet new friends, have fun!

It's a great day out for magicians and of course it's all free. See you there! :D

I may pop down too, if my lecture falls through (Which it probably will)

The day before Star Wars day. I think I might be in a chewbacca costume fitting that day.

Michael Vincent will be joining us on 3rd May and, as a warm-up, I met up with him in the Nag's Head for a bit of socialising, chat and magic. We turned up in (nearly) matching jackets, although only one of us was wearing a snazzy hat. We were also joined by Aadil, who has just started learning magic from Michael and already has some great card handling skills.

We had a great night and entertained lots of people who were out for a quiet drink and suddenly found a world class magician at their table. But enough about me

Michael usually performs at posh functions and corporate events, so seeing him working wonders for a small group of loud slightly drunken scousers was loads of fun for everyone. If you want to see him in action come along on the 3rd - not to be missed!

More big names now expected to join us - looks like being the best one yet. See the stars up close!

Don't spend the Bank Holiday Monday pottering round B&Q or doing the gardening - come to Covent Garden and have a great day out alongside some world-class talent.

It's like The Ruskin during Blackpool convention - but moved to Central London! :D

And therefore less Northern, making it better by default.
