Doctor Who audiobooks

Postby Robbie » Apr 30th, '10, 14:13

The Telegraph gave away two Doctor Who audiobook CDs last weekend. Normally I'd take them to the charity shop, except that the second one is only Part 1 of a two-parter, which is not nice.

The remaining seven audiobooks, including new and old Doctors, can be purchased from the Telegraph for £12.99.

If anyone here is interested, I'm willing to post you the two existing CDs and the order form to buy the rest of the collection. I hate throwing things away that might find a good home elsewhere!

Right... no takers. Into the wastebasket they go!

They can be fished out again, but no later than Thursday, after which the Bolton town incinerator will have them.

If you bought the Telegraph on the monday, there was a voucher in there that you took to WH Smith to be given part 2 for free. Then another on the Tues, Weds, Thurs, etc.

I'm a long-term daily Telegraph buyer. If I was in a position to pass by WHS every day, I would have used the tokens, built up the set, and then given the lot to the charity shop. But as it is, it would cost me nearly £4 a day in bus fares to get into town to Smith's and home again. And I'm not that charitable!

Since the giveaway offer is now closed, I thought I'd at least offer the order form with the two existing CDs, to give the taker the choice of buying the rest if they wanted to. But it's moot anyway, since nobody's interested.
