Well i used to, it wasnt very major but i would have t-shirts and such professionally printed and i had a graphics designer and such i jsut managed it and pumped the finances. I actually did all of that throughout my latter school years and the first year of collage on my general 'entreuprenistic' (im sure thats not even a word) nature and therefore picked up a lot about business by actually trying things out.

I didnt mean the "forget about you in half an hour" thing in a negative way  if thats what you thought i meant, you could be David Blaine but people will often lose track in their mind of you and if all they remember is a name then its both not very professional and ruins your chances of a possible client.

Business studies actually has a lot more to it than what people think, it appears easy, but in fact it teaches you the methodologies behind running a business, and focuses a lot on marketing and the how it effects businesses. Combined with Media Studies it becomes invaluable, because it teaches the theory behind advertising and Media teaches how to apply, manipulate and influence the consumer to purchase or remember a product.

Its actually remarkable how much psychology is used within global advertising and marketing, there are many theories on such subjects that focus on mainstream consumer instincts and tendancies. (Such as Maslow's Heirarchy of Needs.) Its quite interesting because Derren brown manipulates and embodies several advertising methods with psychological ones to achieve some of his effects.

I am willing to provide you with all of my knowledge on running a company, or in your case offering yourself as a service, from my business perspective, as theres no difference between advertising yourself as a magician to any other service. I may sound a bit over enthuasiastic but i miss running my apparel company and im always jumping at the chance to get my brain in gear on such things again.

Once again i apologise for responding with a short lecture, i seem to have a habit of going into depth.
