The "Hot Shot Cut" is originally created by Daryl. So you should buy "Daryl's card sleights volume 8" to learn from.

They say: "This is the place to learn the ORIGINAL HOT SHOT CUT! All of the cheap imitations cannot hold a candle to the original! Also, Daryl's awesome card combo - The Super Duper Cut is by far one of the best card cut combos used today. Daryl also teaches several other flourishes on the DVD as well. There is also other great sleight of hand moves for magicians and card enthusiasts. The quality and teaching on this DVD is incredible! This DVD should be in every extreme card manipulators library."

Methinks you should spoil yourself and make full use of the 'Search' facility. It's frightfully good and the Hot Shot Cut has been tackled more than once on the Forum.
