I took this photo at Disneyland (California Park).

Definitely fits ..."something in mid-air"

I have a late entry as well. I hope it's alright for late entries.

Barton: Have you read the Bible, Pete?
Pete: Holy Bible?
Barton: Yeah.
Pete: Yeah, I think so. Anyway, I've heard about it.

Here is my entry to the competition. (With a twist of magic connection.)

Photographer: Gunnar Kr.
Beautiful Model: Magician John Archer.
Note: Mr. Archer is not dancing a Morris Dance! (He did that half hour later in the evening, all dressed in white with pretty ribbons and pom-poms!)

Explanation: I took this picture in March 2010 at the South Tyneside Magic Convention. This is John Archer (formerly known as ”Constable Archer“) during his award winning pizza toss. As of now, he holds the record of tossing a slice of pizza (with pepperoni and extra cheese) from his foot to an empty open pizza box on top of his head. Go Archie!!! :P

Here is a picture of him getting ready for the toss:
