Hello everybody,

After a few monts coming on this nice forum, I think time as come for me to introduce myself to the brotherhood of magicians devicing here.

I’m a 38 french fan of mentalism, and I am very happy to read so many interesting topics here. As you probably noticed, my english seem a bit strange and I apologize for it as it is true I’m not completly fluent in shakespeare language.

My passion for magic had started very early when I was a child, and my father was doing coin tricks during the dinner. He enjoyed to make coins appear everywhere, crossing trough the table, vanishing in his hands and appear suddenly in some weird place. We were all amazed. A few years later, when I was 10-12, I used his advice to create mini magic show for the friends and family. And after that, magic vanished from my life as fastly as the coins were vanishing in my father’s hand.
Passion came back more than 30 years later, during one of those warm summer night from south France. I was working hard on a Tony Buzan book on memory, and thanks to internet my curiosity was atttracted to harry loraynes work, and furthermore to the way biggest area of mental magic.
That was 2 years ago, and few months after I entered in a strange shop I knew before but never approached : « Le cercle - académie de magie » (the circle : magic academy). http://www.lecercle-magie.com/ecole.php

There I found my first mentor, Pierre who is still teachning me the basics in card manipulation, coins, routines, missdirection, etc. I’m going in the place every week, and on my own I’m studdying and training in Mentalism (corinda 13 steps, TA Watters mind myth and magic, Ian rowland cold reading, kenton knepper, banachek psi series, Anthony Jacquin manchurian effect, Derren lectures and a few other are my bedside books).
As you understand, I’m not a professional, but a passionate fan, who produce some enigmatic tricks and routines for friends. Some skills can also be usefull for few pedagogic demonstration in my job area, where I got the opportunitty to study basic PNL approach.

Hoping those informations helped you to know me a bit more. It s a great opportunity for me to be here because it is not so common to find well stuffed forum about magic and specially mentalism in France.
