Actually it was wine, sex and eventually theater. (Although that was the Greek god Dionysus who the romans ripped off) In fact theater as we know it stems from the bacchae worship rituals. Which is ironic seeing as how men weren't allowed to take part. So I think the whole 'Women can't be in the theater' notion was revenge for them not allowing us to take part in their drug fulled, goat killing orgies.
