Coins and wedding rings - not a good combination?

Postby Wishmaster » Jun 15th, '10, 15:04

Hi all,

Thanks to Lenoir, I have some lovely US half dollars to learn with now.

While fiddling with them, I've noticed that I just can't hold them properly when wearing my wedding ring.

Do you coin manipulators remove rings when working with coins as a matter of course?

Cheers,
Wishmaster

I only wear a wedding ring, no I don't take it off. But I know some who do.

my rings are probabaly smaller than yours but I've never had a problem with them. I actually find a ring quite helpful for when holding a coin in the finger palm.

I only wear one ring the same as bmat, but it clinks against the coin and I'm finding it hard to keep a grip, as the ring pushes against the coin itself. Trying to hold more than one coin is even harder with that hand.

It seems this is purely down to practice and lots of hours holding the coin during my normal day then. :)

Thanks muchly for replying.
