Hi All

I was doing a search of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe site for my own club and though that some of the members here might be interested in some of the shows.

I carried out searches using magic, magician, conjuring and legerdemain. So here is some links along with their descriptions.

If anyone knows of any others please let me know

Thanks for that, A great set of links. Every year I promise myself I will go to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and sadly I have never made it yet.

There really are some great names there this year too...

That'll be me in the first one...

My thirteenth year (!) I'm doing the second half of the run, and Steven Dick is starting things off. Air conditioned venue, pub prices on drinks etc.

More information when I have it...

Take care, Ian

I'm just trying to raise the finances to go to this, should be great.

My mate and I have promised each other we would go for a couple of years now and this year is the closest we've got to it!!

All the best,

Will Wood

Ed Fringe magic shows for 2011

Postby BadMagician » Jul 12th, '11, 20:47

These links are very helpful but a bit dated at this point. I have two great shows with a lot of magic in them for 2011.

The I Hate Children Children's Show is probably the best children's magic show at the festival.

Devil in the Deck is wonderful for families and older children. Devil in the Deck is one of the best magic shows at the festival.

I also recommend Berry and Stewart, Pete Firman, and Ian Kendal but I don't have those links handy.

There is a big collated list on magicweek.co.uk under 'What's On' and scroll down to 'August 2011' (obviously).

I'm doing the Grumpy Magicians with John Hearn at Ryans Cellar Bar Hope Street, (West End of Princes Street) from 6th to 27th August (not Sunday) at 7.30pm. It's a good venue and entry is free. Hope to see you there!
