To be fair... Vampire Willow is something worth thinking about on a quiet Saturday afternoon.

Did anyone else notice just how much Buffy used to kick the c*** (not the best) out of Angel over the years though?

He should have gone to a halfway house for abused (undead) spouses :(

Is it controversial to say that Angel was a much better show than Buffy? Because it was.

I know lol! I'm supposed to be learning card sleights and other non-sad things inside on this lovely, sunny day instead of chatting online :P

Now, that's grounds for a bun fight! How could you say such a thing?

Stephen King's criticisms of the twilight books are worth a read.

Haven't given twilight a go. Probably won't. I've quite enjoyed the odd episode of true blood that I've managed to catch, but I think a lot that is the soundtrack. ITVs Vampire diaries and demons have been pretty poor.

Thanks Jobasha, will have a read later.

Stephen King's Salems Lot was one of THE best ever vampire novels. David Soul in the original adaptation was awesome. How creepy was James Mason? A horror masterpiece.

True Blood is brilliant and I agree about the music. Vampire Diaries was like a Twilight clone to begin with, but has gotten darker and more violent as it's gone on. I'm glad I persevered with it.

All this talk of Buffy and Willow is fair enough, but we're missing one thing...Faith.

Wow...

Because Buffy got daft after Angel left, it got too camp and over the top for my liking.

Plus Angel had more of Julie Bennz.

If by controversial you mean true, then yes.

I agree that Buffy went a bit wishy washy after Angel left although it did end particularly well.

I didn't like it when they killed off Cordy in Angel though.

Eliza Dusku is okay but I would favour Matt's opinion - Julie Benz for the win!

Ok, it may be very tempting to think this is some form of joke or such. It is not. I was physically forced to watch the first one. Physically.
Think the scene from clockwork orange with the eye machine, but oh, much, much worse. Once you've been tortured like that by a group of evil girls, you're never the same again.
Before that I had read the book, well, half of it... and I put it down because.. well, because I am not four years old any more.
Usually, anyone who says they're single and happy about it are talking through their arses, but ohoho indeed I am glad to be at this moment. I remember being dragged along to 'High school F-ing-musical 9' or whatever f-ing number it got up to in the end... That was nearly as much of a waste of money as any chocolate you happen to have bought when they're in a bad mood. Holy Cow, I thought boys were supopsed to be greedy?!

Funny that I'm reading this post now. I have no interest in the series, however my wife is forcing me to watch new moon. Luckly I have my trusty laptop so I don't have to pay too much attention to the movie, and we are still spending time together.

I did like buffy now and again, and I do like True Blood.

I REALLY want to see Wesely Snipes appear in Twilight and then hear some techno music play in the back ground.

Aye, I'd love for him to show those pansies what a real vampire is supposed to do.

I am also blessed to have a significant other who abhors Twilight as much as I do, and I assure everyone my distaste for it is fully warranted by a reading of the first book. There is so much beyond the crass writing and dialogue.

If I want to encourage someone to read about vampires, there are so, so many better sources. Like Bram Stoker. Let's get these brainwashed fools on the path to good literature.
