Postby Eshly » Aug 10th, '10, 00:09

The title says it all.

They were good looking guys and everything, but they just wern't for me.

Sorry but I had to tell someone and I couldn't tell anyone in real life, so wanted to whine here.

 Maybe they know something about you that you haven't considered yet?

I hate to break it to you but both, magic and theater is full of gay people... you'd be surprised as who of the who's who fall into that category

Or maybe you're sending out all the wrong signals.

It happens to lots of people. Especially magicians.

I even once heard gossip about Siegfried and Roy! Can you believe that??

Or maybe you're just too examinable and encouraging suspicion and speculation... sorry... couldn't resist!

Eshly has already mentioned his bisexuality.

You're probably always going to get propositioned more by men than women. Gender traits are a bitch.

I can't imagine anything less interesting to discuss than someone's sexuality. I'm sure that if I was interested in such things, though, that I could find at least one relevant forum somewhere out there on the rather large internet.

I often wonder if Eshly is for real. I am becoming irritated that he is nearly as big a troll as I am. Competiton unsettles me.

He is as real as you or I, Mr Lewis.

If the spectator doesn't engage in the effect,
then the only thing left is the method.

Gotta say Tom, if memory serves i don't think i've ever really 'had a go' at anything you've said on these forum pages but i've just got to ask this:

Are you EVER satisfied with anything?

To be honest, i think i know why you're never satisfied with people's generous responses about where you should go and carry out your research to find solutions to your magic problems. It lies in what you have as your signature on each post, "Magic won't ever be real".

I think that with each method given to each trick you propose, you get progessively more disappointed as you realise it's not as simple as the magician makes it look, or as clean as you imagined it in your head. In other words, it's nowhere near "real". But why should it be? To a spectator it has to look clean, and very very real, otherwise.....oh you know the rest.

You got asked out by two guys but you want a girl? Boo chuffin hoo mate. If i gave you a tenner you'd probably moan it wasn't twenty. Why don't you just appreciate that two geezers found you attractive enough physically and personally to want to be with you and leave it at that? BE HAPPY ABOUT IT.

I never thought i'd join in on the Eshly bashing, but this post is quite unbelievable.

Tom..

I might seriously suggest that you join the magicwoods form, if you need to discuss this, as over there we have a private forum for Lesbian, Gay, bi and Transgender magicians.

http://www.themagicwoods.co.uk/forum/

I dont know if it's any good, as it's one of the few sections of the forum, i as a moderator cant get into.

Not that i would want to.

Anyway, you might find it usefull.

Helpful advice as ever but I think we need to end this thread now before it goes off in the usual direction!
