I'm trying to locate one of these props for this trick. Does anyone know where I can purchase one from the UK. It clips on the back of the thumb.

Theres a pic here:

Many thanks in advance for all replies.

you might try cards for magic. They have some obscure things. And possibly internationals might have one shoved in a draw somewhere.
Failing that, if you buy a standard pull, you might be able to get someone to solder a clip on for you.

just a thought, but if you dont light the ciggy..( where can you smoke these days anyway?) you can use the standard pin type of Cigarette catcher.

Here's a link to some good photos of the prop.
If anyone knows where I could buy one i'd be very grateful.

Any particular reason why it has to be in the UK, Neil?

Well - not really. I'd prefer a uk supplier but if there isn't one i'd settle for getting it overseas.

I think I've found what Neil is looking for. Although not in the UK, the price is incredibly low, so even with shipping it won't break the bank.

(I sent Neil the info last night, in case anyone thinks I am just taunting him!)

Yes - many thanks again. :-) I've contacted the seller and they are going to get back to me with a postage price on Monday.
I'm surprised these aren't more available. Although I'm very new to magic i did quite a long search on the net. Its a shame because the it seems quite good the way the effect is described in Tarbell. Hopefully I'll have it soon.

It arrived in the post today. Nice little prop. Think I might need some flesh coloured metallic paint though!
