which dove pan

Postby pintoki » Aug 26th, '10, 21:19

Hi guys, ive been looking high and low at double dove pans and it seems there are some good quality pans like the morrissey ones and also some poor quality ones out there.
I have been looking for a GOOD quality low profile double dove and wondered if anyone could point me to a UK site that has them. I did fine on on 'dude thats cool magic' but they are out of stock.
many thanks.

Dove pans

In my opinion the best one is the "Classic Stainless Steel" it's a single load.

It's the one that I used in my own shows. The reason I think it's the best is because the outer edge of the pan, is (I think from memory) less than an inch high, so the load appears instantly the lid is taken off, without having to scoop into the pan to bring the bird (or whatever) out. The lid is "Tiered" & the outer edge is also not very high. It's extremely deceptive, & yet will take a full load. Much better than those pans that are 3 - 4 inches high on the outer edge of the pan, & the same on the lid, plus it's a classy looking prop made in stainless steel!

All good wishes
