so.. Our own Paul is going to be coming and dancing on our telly box, over the next few weeks..

hoorah! Good for Paul I say!.

I predict he's going to be handled like John Sargent, and become the character of the show..
:)

(Debbie is on come dine soon, and will no doubt have all the strictly gosip on her radio show, on bbc radio berkshire every sunday morning.. which is a great radio show by the way)

you're like Yoda.you dont say much, but what you do say is worth listening to....

Apparently Debbie is a superb cook - no idea how good Paul's dancing is!

Be strong and resist! I haven't viewed any of these apparently endless dancing shows - I have a lot of paint to watch dry.....

Well... apparently mr Daniels is a fencing enthusiast and musician, so rhythm and movement won't be alien to him. He might well prove to be the show's big surprise, if any of us can bring ourselves to watch such mindless lowbrow light entertainment. I for one will certainly not be watching. My other half, however, almost certainly will, and I'll have to endure it as background noise while I stoically grit my teeth and think back to a better time, when Saturday evening telly had an intellectual purpose and provided us with cerebral nourishment. Where have those days gone, eh? Bring back the Generation Game and Noel's House Party says I! They were a feast for mind and soul!

Pretty sure he's done... let's call it "light" dancing on his show. And TLDM is a dancer, so...

Simon Scott

If the spectator doesn't engage in the effect,
then the only thing left is the method.

Debbie's clasicaly trained.
She was talking about it on the radio first thing, and because of her Ballet training, she's as much in the dark about ball room, as Paul.

If I was a betting man (or, perhaps, a cricketer), I'd say he'll get to last 6

That's one foot to many - perhaps you can learn to do an Elmsley Count with your feet. That would be worth watching!

Can't even do an Elmsley with me fingers but at least I’m rock steady on uneven surfaces! BTW, there was an article on Teletext this morning which said that a man's ability to dance is a very strong attraction for the female of the species, something to do with demonstrating physical ability and therefore sexual prowess and fertility....
