Depends on what you wear when performing generally, TKO would be good in summer without a jacket and hence no toppit, with a toppit better for winter etc. I'm not sure if you can use TKO with a jacket but if you can then that would be the best option.

if the toppit was better then I would be happy wearing a jacket, even in summer, however is it any better/easier to use than the TKO. I would wear whatever made the performance better I guess is my point :)

The is one of those things that the answer has to be, 'whatever suits your style' If I was to choose one it would be a toppit. Just because I like it better.

I didn't think people brought toppits? I've always made mine, in which case, make a toppit and get TKO for the summer, wearing a jacket in 25 oC + is not very pleasant

Personally I'd go for a topit every time and yes, you can buy them.

A jacket, whatever the weather gives you a good advantage if you're a working magician as it provides lots of pocket space as well as looking smart.

Some venues insist on a jacket.

It's not really an optical illusion - it just looks like one!
