Disinterested = impartial, unbiased, taking no side of an argument
Uninterested = not taking an interest, uncaring, bored

Just warming up for my proofreading stint.

Actually, I've been wondering whether the lovely Derren is spreading himself too thin. He seems to be unnaturally driven lately.

The Enigma tour has only just ended, the Svengali tour is already selling tickets, and in between he's done The Events, the psychic investigation miniseries that I've forgotten the name of, and now Hero, and possibly one or two other TV shows, and released at least one book.

That's a massive pile of work there in just a couple of years. Is he courting overexposure, or possibly burnout?

It would be a shame, but he has been at it for 10 years now, and it looks like uke Jermay has left, with Andy Nyman helping partially. Wouldn't like to think so, but Mentalism is actually quite a thin area of magic when you look at it, and as Max Maven once said, there are only 4 distinct types, everything else is just a variation thereof. I for one would much rather see him release something inredible every 2 or 3 years, rather than be forced to write yearly material.
