wondering if any you guys have read "Magician Among the Spirits" by harry houdini. ive had it for a while and its a very good read. its a book you can always go back to and read parts as it never fails. in the book harry exposure of the fake spiritualist, spirit photography, spirit slate writing, ectoplasm, clairvoyance ect...... it is very informational and makes make you think about the whole "paranormal" thing. am not to sure if you could use the info in your routines but am sure theres bits you could take out and use to your own set up.

I found it impressive too, well-researched and sensibly written as well as useful. There's a detailed review (too long to post here, and with several cross-references that wouldn't make sense in isolation) in my thesis "Magic and the Paranormal", which you can find in the members' areas of the Magic Circle and Psycrets sites.
