Google Maps - do you really trust them ????

Postby moonbeam » Nov 10th, '10, 21:00

..... well this might make you think twice:

‎1. Go to Google maps.
2. Go to "Get Directions."
3. Type Japan as the start location.
4. Type China as the end location.
5. Go to direction #43.
6. Try not to laugh too loud.

..... makes me wonder who the devil found this out lol .... "Oh I think I'll find out how to get from Japan to China, Google Maps here I come".

QUESTION:
If we can sue McDonalds for making us fat and cigarette companies for giving us cancer; why can't we sue Smirnoff for all the ugly gits we've sh*gged ??

Brilliant!
You see, that's what I like about Google (that and their general usefulness) - they have a sense of humour.

Oh and yes, I do trust google maps. The nearest I have to a Sat Nav is the google maps application on my android phone. :P

I mainly find myself laughing at the funny pronunciation of some road names ("Clough" becomes "clau" for example) and checking the map to make sure I'm not being lied to - but it's not bad.

This worries me though. I might crash the car/bike laughing if I suddenly hear something like that on a route.

there are a couple of these. I think Philadelphia to Bel Air provides a fun one, as well.
