Beyond ESP

Postby roman59 » Jul 30th, '04, 18:00

Hi Guys

I spoke to Michael at Magicbox this afternoon & he is sending me some spare beyond esp cards to try the xpert on, I will post my findings!

According to Michael the cards have a seal on them but he was not sure if it was plastic or not.

Cheers

I had a meeting last week with the guys at MagicBox and Mr Murry was there, he told me that there had been many people returning the product due tothe fact that the marking system had not been applied to their purchased deck... That's how good they are... Buy another packet for safe keeping so shold the product ever come off of the market you stil have a deck for the future.

Well seeing it as good is one way of looking at it, personally I'd like it sleightly clearer as I'm really not convinced under fire they can be read in a sure fire way.

Due to spending shedloads of money around August, I didn't pick up any of these at the time (dammit), but I see "Mk 2" is coming out.

I don't know if this is improving the markings, laminating the backs, both or neither. However, the first version was obviously popular, so I thought I'd mention it.

I have Symbology and will try to review it, but I want to have a look through the website first.

MK 2 should be interesting as there's little that could be done to the cards without making them either too obvious or too difficult to read. A tweak in quality might be the only thing left to do with them but the MK 1's work fine for me - might get a bit too grubby in time though.

Hmmm. i seem to remember the Beyond ESP cards being priced at £11.99 when i ordered them but now they seem to have raised in price to the full £14.99.
Does anyone know whether i will only pay the price that i was told they were gonna be (i hope this is the case!) or will they be the price stated now?

The easiest, quickest, and the only guaranteed answer is only going to come from wherever you bought them from. I am assuming magicbox, who I have always found very helpful and eager to please. So I suggest you drop them an email, or give them a ring...

£11.99 was the special pre-order price. £14.99 is the regular price. You would only pay the £11.99, therefore.
