The first International name has been released for the South Tyneside International Magic Festival

LATIMER The 'Grand Prix' FISM World Champion of Magic takes the stage.

With 17 international titles and awards for his work, including three FISM Awards (World Champion Close Up Magic, FISM Award for Best Invention and Design, and 'Grand Prix' World Champion of Magic), LATIMER will be presenting 2 different spots on our stage including the act he used to win the Siegfried and Roy Masters of the Impossible title at the World Magic Seminar in Las Vegas, NV and his astonishing FISM Grand Prix Act using his CLEAR cups and balls.

In addition LATIMER, will be presenting his ”Be a Magician with a Wide Stance“ lecture. This is so much more than a lecture – its a discussion that allows you to pick the mind of creator in magic. Its a discussion that addresses anything from his take on technique to creating, building, performing, routine design, contests, his illusion show, his machine shop, his consulting for Sony Pictures special effects, his involvement with design firms, tech firms, event companies, universities, charities, business formats, etc... and how it all comes together...under being a magician.

In this workshop, Paul will provide in-depth analysis of showpieces from his own contemporary conjuring demonstrations; he'll be discussing previously released material as well as some unpublished effects, but his aim is not merely to reveal methods-he will use these routines as models to discuss principles of magic so that you can further refine your own fantastic visions.
