I totally agree with SpareJoker, as far as the spectator's concerned, as long as they're entertained, they're happy. But some people enjoy the challenge of mastering a difficult sleight and if they do then there's nothing wrong with them using those sleights.
I personally like to keep things simple but that's just me.
